Incredibly Complicated?

Hi folks.. i played this game back in the days on my PS1 and i loved it..

But now everything seems rather complicated.. for example.. how can i make my Norn Eat or Drink stuff ? I'm too stupid for this game :D

1 but the ps1 version is so much different.. like i cannot even drop items on my Norns

It looks much more powerful once you get into it, but i dont understand how to play it.

for example.. how do i scroll the World to the sides? Seems i cannot do it. im Stuck on the part of the world in which my norn is

For controlling the view, you have scroll bars along the bottom and right-hand side of the game window (much like you would see in a web browser). There should also be a button on the user interface that sets the view to follow your currently selected norn (jumping the screen over when the norn walks to the edge of the view).

And... yes, this game is significantly more complex than the PS1 version. It's more an attempt at simulating virtual life and less a preset game with specific objectives or minigames.
The core objective of the PC games is simply to raise norns. How you do that is up to you, but you'll need to teach your norns to take care of themselves to some extent because you can't just drop food on them, like in the PS1 version.

I would highly advise checking out the "GETTING STARTED" section of the Creatures 1 game manual, which should give you a general overview of the essential controls and early aspects of norn-rearing. (The manual is located in the Creatures 1 folder of your game directory)
