Den of Wolves

Den of Wolves

anybody knows if den of wolves be more action oriented or tactical?
frankly speaking, I'm a filthy casual. well... not really, but i prefer more casual experience.

is there any information about the gameplay, will it be more likely payday 2 or more like gtfo ?

It will not be as hardcore has GTFO, that's for sure.

I just hope it's NOT like gtfo, nobody plays it btw.
( GTFO chart: https://steamdb.info/app/493520/charts/ )

give it some action.

ulf said GTFO was a passion project, and den of wolves supposed to be something for the wider audience.

Games are successful based on content amount. Difficulty doesn't matter. Elden ring had 950k concurrent players not including console.

I think that is a very simplified statement. I would say that both Elden Ring and GTFO has much of it's audience because of the challenge they offer. You need to back that up with good content, of course, but I would disagree that quality goes over quantity.

Nobody plays it now because it basically flopped from the very start. And it flopped because for some weird reason the devs decided to rely on the 3rd-party software for MM and communication purposes, and still do to some extent.

Nobody plays it anymore because it's a finished game with not much replayability. The core audience has finished the game.
It didn't flop either, it had a specific target audience (and the target audience clearly wasn't randomly matched players, but friends looking for a challenging coop session). And looking at the very positive rating at 40k reviews, shows the target audience loved it. Not being the next best selling game doesn't mean it flopped. I love the game still to this day. And I'm looking forward to Den of Wolves, because to me, GTFO was proof what amazing games they can create.
