Power telepads in mountains?
How are you supposed to keep teleport pads in the mountains fuled?
Send trains there with wood? Or is there another way to get something burnable there?

Think the fuel consumption of those pads is way way way too high.
I mean ok, some upkeep is fine but why so much?

In the early game, you can make paths through the mountains using path tiles, elevators, ziplines and cannons. Use big crates to make stops so each spark only has to carry the cargo a limited way. Upgrade to hauler sparks when possible.

Later in the game, use trains. Use furnaces to turn wood into coal and transport the coal. That's more effective than transporting wood.

After you unlock logic, you get even more options. Some people prefer to place a big crate full of fuel that's connected by a path to the telepad and manned with a spark, but that spark is stopped from progressing by the path addon that looks like a bollard or traffic cone. Connect that item with a signal receiver and also a manual switch. At your main base have a signal transmitter using the same frequency [i.e. both are identificed with the same object]. Now you can send a signal whenever you want to use the teleporter, the spark will fuel it and once you've used it, use the manual switch to shut if off again.
