giant rock deposit?

So I want to built a drill but I don't know where I can place it. Tried to put it on a big rock but it won't let me. So....where do I find a giant rock deposit?

They are the big rock pillars in the mountains biome. Impossible to miss. They are gigantic and say you can place a drill on them in the mouseover tooltip. Don't forget to bring the rock slabs (made in the stone workshop) when you go. You'll also most likely need ladders, although I think I had one seed where I was able to go around a mountain to climb up the back without a ladder.

AAaahh.....man, I roamed around the whole Woodlands trying to put the rock cutter on the big rocks but it just wouldn't let me. But thanks to your answer I found it now and got my first automation in the mountain region. Thank you!
