(side-note: with MS appearing to be comfortable with the idea that HFR doesn't need to actually "sell" a lot of units, it just makes it that much more galling that it comes with denovo)
Which I think is great news! It's hard not to to be enchanted by this infectious game, because it's the type of game that no marketing puke at Ubisoft or Sony (just examples) could ever deliver: the game that the developers themselves would want to play.
This is absolutely hilarious to me, because they didn't even market the game. No ♥♥♥♥ it was a surprise success, because they expected it to and wanted it to fail. Too busy hyping up Redfall and Starfield to care.
Tango Gameworks deserves better than Microsoft.
Keep Phil Spencer's greedy, sweaty hands away from this gem of a developer, please.
