I think that setting is just to check how out of sync you are because I played around with the setting when I first had the problem and nothing changed.
Yeah bad thing is my headphones is bluetooth ONLY D:
I also looked around the settings, nothing else helps
I did some research on the subject, and I guess the general consensus is that buds that support AptX codec have the least amount of bluetooth latency (ie: less audio delay). Buds that support this codec are far-and-few inbetween, so if you intend to use buds for gaming, you'll have to do your product research. The name that keeps popping up for such buds is Razer... who can be a bit hit-or-miss.
Though, my takeaway from all this is that 3.5 will always reign supreme. At the very least, wireless headphones with a dongle-based connection are a good middle-ground. But bluetooth, as always, proves to be trash.
Nah bluetooth only
My bluetooth headphones have an option to switch to headset, the delay goes away but in return it makes the sound quality really bad.
Seen headset that have 300ms delay, thats awful, gaming headsets may suck, but at lest they have like 50ms delay top.
