Difference in performance with this release and Microsoft Store's?
It's just for curiosity, the game is fine for me here, but I just wonder if Denuvo has that big of an impact in it.
I beat this game prior on Gamepass, smooth sailing at max settings with a 1080p. Since Steam has Denuvo implemented, did someone notice any difference regarding performance since this DRM tanks games usually?
I noticed something with the upscaling technologies options, where sometimes the game would go to the low-mid 50s, but I don't remember if I fiddled with that on Gamepass. I don't even know if I should've even messed up with that option since I don't have a proper card for that as far as I'm aware (I'm with a GTX 1650 for a laptop).
Anyone know if there's actual differences? Or is the game so well optimized that it doesn't make much at all

All versions of the game have Denuvo
It does impact performance, but how much? You definitely not gonna know until they removed the darn parasite.
My PC with a R5 3600 and RX 6600 run the game smoothly at 1440p 60fps and still have some headroom on GPU side,I did experience stutters where it drop to 50~ here and there, this stutter issue probably would fix itself if the parasite gone.
Overall they optimized the darn parasite quite well in this game.

As for the upscalers,FSR work with everything so don't worry.

Yeah, for a Denuvo implemented game, it sure avoided the issues Sonic Mania, RE8 or Hogwarts Legacy had at launch in comparison. This is a really well optimized game for what they're offering graphically.
Didn't know even the MS version have Denuvo, I thought it was a very specific DRM due to how they protect the files and such, but I didn't expect any slowdown or stutter there.
Even so, Steam version is perfectly fine to me, but it's still sad to see that Denuvo is still around to hinder performance from time to time.

Is that confirmed? It's hard to find any confirmation of microsoft store games having Denuvo. After all, the window store has already a DMR that is as good as/even better than Denuvo.

Yeah that was my doubt prior. I always thought that their UWP(?) method was already good enough
If there's any proof of the MS version having no Denuvo, then we can have our benchmark of the game running without it
