It does impact performance,but how much? You definitely not gonna know until they removed the darn parasite.
My PC with a R5 3600 and RX 6600 run the game smoothly at 1440p 60fps and still have some headroom on GPU side,I did experience stutters where it drop to 50~ here and there, this stutter issue probably would fix itself if the parasite gone.
Overall they optimized the darn parasite quite well in this game.
As for the upscalers,FSR work with everything so don't worry.
Didn't know even the MS version have Denuvo, I thought it was a very specific DRM due to how they protect the files and such, but I didn't expect any slowdown or stutter there.
Even so, Steam version is perfectly fine to me, but it's still sad to see that Denuvo is still around to hinder performance from time to time.
If there's any proof of the MS version having no Denuvo, then we can have our benchmark of the game running without it
