Why is Chai so arrogant?

I like the game but dislike Chai😕 I don't like arrogant people. Most of time they listen to no one but themselves (just like Chai), which makes it hard to start a wholesome conversation☹️

A character action game protagonist being cocky and arrogant has pretty much been the standard with Dante and Bayonetta being the most popular. So it shouldn't really be surprising.

Keep playing the game. There is meaningful character development in this game and you'll probably enjoy Chai more as it progresses.

I was thinking a slightly dumber version of Aladdin. I don't mind it though, it's pretty well done and I've gotten a couple of chuckles out of it.
