FPS on Deck and offline play possible?

Hey there,

this game looks absolutely amazing! I'd like to get ít for offline play on my Steam Deck in the Train. Will this be possible with Denuvo? (never had any bad experience with Denuvo-"contaminated" games).

Also can someone say something about the Deck performance? Does it run with 60 fps and how long does a full battery charge last?

Denuvo (usually) isn't always-online, but you need to launch the game while online to get a new offline token that lasts for roughly a week. There's no way to know when these tokens will expire and you can't manually refresh a token before they expire. I would strongly recommend avoiding any game with Denuvo on Deck specifically for that reason.

it's 2 weeks and you only need a brief connection to reauthenticate. If it helps I 100%ed sonic frontiers with zero isssues even playing offline many times. assassin's creed origins worked good too.

This game have Denuvo, so while the game can be play in offline mode, there're some things worth noting.
Since everytime you switch to a different Proton version, it count as a new "activation".

Denuvo implemented games rely on 3rd party DRM server to generate authorization tokens in order for the games to be launchable(forced online authorization). These tokens are expirable and can be break under circumstances(reinstalling/update OS/driver,switching Proton(Linux), changing hardware) render the games useless.
The tokens can only be acquired for a limited number of times(usually 5)per 24 hours, once you reach the limit for whatever reason, you will be blocked out of your games, and will need to wait until the next day to be able to "activate" the game again.
The tokens won't be automatically acquired by themselves upon finished downloading the games, you need to launch the games in online mode for them to be acquired.
You can play Denuvo implemented games in offline mode, but it won't be indefinitely.
In fact you can't play the game at all if there's no token or for some reason it's cannot acquire a token(server outage) regardless of whether you're online or offline.
