ue4-habiki game has crashed (UPDATED!)
ue4-habiki game has crashed - I have most updated Nvidia Studio Drivers for my 2070S EVGA whizbang edition - please fix

EDIT - Yes, my cpu is lacking avx2 support, only supports '1.0'. I don't have this issue with literally any other UE4 game I own. Also, someone below def has an avx2 supporting cpu (i7-11700K), and also has this issue, so I doubt its avx2 support that is the issue.

EDIT 2 - well have no idea why, but upon finally upgrading my mobo/cpu/ram to (mostly) cutting edge stuff (z690 AUROS Ultra/i7-13700K/DDR5 16gb 4800Mhz) but keeping all else the same (didnt even have to do anything to my windows installation other than chipset drivers and core stuff like that that has nothing to do with sound or graphics, etc.) - the problem is gone.

Btw - again, its NOT AVX2 - people with CPU's that have that are still having problems - I have no idea why my new mobo/cpu/ram fixed it, but whatever. I hope they update this game for the rest of you!!!!!!!!

It boots up the opening credits of Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and then as soon as it hits the safety warnings it immediately crashes with that same error.

Lo mismo en Game Pass.

I think this has to do with you having an older processor. I was doing some research and found out the game uses AVX2. Sorry if this doesn't pertain to you but that was my problem. Uncharted had the same issue, but they released a patch to support older cpus again then it was fine. If you can leave a review you might point it out if that's actually your issue as well.

Same here on a rx 580 through game pass, I thought it was an Xbox app problem, but apparently not, I hope they fix it soon.

people need to stop with the "if problem on xbox app, then its the app; if problem on Steam, then its the game/dev" more than enough evidence its almost never that simple - and a game being fine on one and not the other doesn't prove one store has the problem, especially if many other games are not having any issue on either (which is the truth).

but ANYway, I hope an update comes soon, I have watched a few streams - everyone who plays this game loves it. Sleeper hit detected.

damn Im hoping they could address the AVX2, or maybe officially state as a requirement. I can run Forspoken on my i7-3770 but not this? So weird

There are people experiencing this same bug with cpu's that very much have AVX2, so that is not the issue here.
