Beat hit not working?

I am at the Beat hit tutorial and I dont know if I amdoing something wrong but I am hitting the 4 beats correctly but then i cant get the "Beat Hit" to count when i have to hit the beat on the Circle (it says Miss even when I land it square in the middle of it). Also for some reason i can only ever do the 4 combo beats correctly every 3rd attempt and it consistantly doesnt register the 2nd button input on my the other 2 attempts even though im 100% sure I am pressing the button so i think it may be a glitch. Is anyone else dealing with this?

Xbox player here that just faced the same issue. Closing the game out fully and restarting it appeared to fix the issue.

It helped solve the "every 3rd attempt only" problem but it didnt help the rest. I am an Xbox player (playing via the Gamepass app on a samsung TV) and if other people faced the same problem I am convinced its a glitch and one I dont know how to solve. Hope they fix it soon or someone finds a reliable way to bypass this cause I just can not play the game right now

Update: somehow i got past it. Just started playing the game again this morning and it worked. Not sure if it was due to an update or something I did.

However... I now got stuck in the generator part where button prompts show up. It didnt let me imput them, I reseted, reached the generator again and then the game didnt register the imputs but softlocked instead of letting me retry.

I swear, this game seems very fun but i just cant progress past these softlocks

Yeah Im playing on the Samsung TV app and had lots of issues. "Solved" it by leaving the game and launching it again but after a while the Beat Hit stopped working again. I managed to get to the 3rd level of the game by quitting and rejoining the game again and again (cause i really like this game) but i had to face the afformentioned generator button prompt glitching, attacks inputs not resulting in attacks even though the game picks up on them (they show up as Miss even though they are on beat) and i finally gave up when the parry glitched out when dealing with drones (the first attack they shot wasnt hitting the character so i couldnt parry them *all* to clear that segment eventually resulting in me dying while i tried to figure out what timing i had to have.

I really hope they patch all these things out because any one of these issues straight up prevents progression or requires dozens of reboots to play.

you NEED a stable framerate for the rhythm mechanics in this game to be smooth, then once that's sorted you can calibrate the beat-timing in the settings so it visually matches up exactly when you input the button, past that It could be a controller issue but those are easy to figure out/solve

Also, are you sure you're hitting the correct attack for the beats? On one of the tutorials I didn't realize it had swapped to heavy attacks midway through the combo.

Im confident I am doing everything on the beat. In fact it shows when i hit the button and its on the beat as shown on the beatmarker but it just says "Miss" instead of Perfect (or just nothing and doing the attack anyways like it normally would on the ocation I miss a beat). It is almost definetly a glitch. Also the frame rate is consistent, again it is something that gets "fixed" if I reset the game enough times and the framerate never changes so thats not the deciding factor.

I'm getting all perfects, but it still won't let me pass.

AYO sorry i'm a year late uhh just came upon this game and I'm hitting the beat hits how I'm supposed to and it simply is not letting me progress. Like i'm nailing the combo it says "perfect!" and just doesn't let me progress.
