Xbox One controller input lag

I've been playing since yesterday and noticed that pressing "start" or "back" doesn't work on the first press like it should. This also happens when performing a finishing move, and on the map screen pressing RB and LB. I need to press multiple times to get it to work. My controller works fine on every game; the game runs smoothly, but so far these are the only things that should be looked in to.
Update: the web-shooters also have the same bug. When pressing, take multiple times just to shoot once.

Yes, I have noticed this issue with the Xbox Elite V2 contoller when trying to acess the map menu and finding out I often have to press it several times as it doesn't register first time. It's like the game sometimes doesn't recognise the button press even though I can still rotate the camera and move to zip points just fine so the other controls are working fine.
