imo it's still the best souls game without any contender. elden ring is just a shell of what bloodborne was both gameplay -and lore-wise.
you kinda forget that shallow and generic open world games are very popular to the people that regularly buy games at release.
we're past the point of warren specter's single city block vision which is sad but I had hoped he would have been able to accomplish it. there are some games that come close that like mankind divided and yakuza series but it's obvious that the small fraction who regularly buy games are after offline rpg experiences.
I should also mention that I jumped to pc in 2013 and sold my ps4 shortly after playing through bloodborne a few times.
I think because of the reasons I mentioned, you see a lot of people willing to buy it twice despite them owning it on their consoles.
Okay, now after this, walk into an ice-cream parlour, go up to the counter, and tell them that actually you wanted pizza.
asking in this forum for bloodborne, sure is not a smart move
Very poor example since you comparing Batman with Spider-Man in which, even if the gameplay were identical, (they are absolutely not), they are iconic characters with rich storyline to experience.
Souls games in the other hand don't have any story and the gameplay, speed, pace and overall design is pretty much identical.. and you play as a nobody.. some ugly character you create with no backstory and zero development.
poor choice considering they are identical and there are other games out there that are identical to batman arkham series... end of topic.
sharks can't climb trees and breathe out of water, therefore they are objectively worthless animals.
that's pretty much your argument in a nutshell.
so just like all arkham clones...
