Head flashing / spidey sense?

Ever since the patch, Miles has acquired a flashing aura around his head. It pulses a few times, goes away, pulses again. The first time it happened, it went away after Miles went back to his apartment. However, I can't get back into the apartment, now, since I'm pretty sure I'm about to start the final mission.

I'm not in danger or in a fight. I'm just moving about in the world. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
