Why does the game freeze right at the beginning.

I have the gotten through the first challenge beating Rhino. I got the suit that peter gives miles and the first challenge is learning the combat. Right at the start of the challenge, the game just freezes. I have put all the setting to low and turned off all the features and set my FPS to 60. I am running a Razer laptop with a 10th gen intel CPU, a RTx 2060 with 16 GB of ram, and a 1 TB ssd. Any ideas on why this is happening??

I launched the game through Nvidia Ge-force experience and it worked no problem. I have not had an issue after that.

maybe some overlay is conflicting
