Yes, they recompiled the game to work with windows. They used the source code leak to recompile it.
We don't even have PS4 emulators that can run retail games, we barely got the title screen of Bloodborne on PS4. In what world do you think we have PS5 emulators?
There are PS5 emulators, but I never said they worked or were good at what they did. What I have seen is in early apha, and about 15% of the time can get as far as a games title screen. And yes, some on has dropped a ton of PS5 games in format that may or may not work with the 2 very broken emulators I know of.
Basically emulators suck for 5 to 10 years. mostly while a console is in its prime, because not a real push to make it work and copyright works more often than not. Also add in remote play that PS is working on, and why emulate when most games are from the virtual store?
Also you missed my whole point.
I don't want to mess with that stuff, and am willing to wait for the full release. Because even if the emulator ever worked, it will work far worse than a proper PC release.
There is no PS5 emulator, not even one that can run homebrew.
