The first one is better. The second one has some neat additions, but they aren't all that well thought out or balanced. Not saying the second one is bad by any means, it's just not as good as the first. I gave the first 9/10 and the second 8.5/10.

Yes in a SMALL way. Both are REALLY good but the first one is probably twice the length as the second one. If you plan on playing both though start with the first one (spiderman remastered) and then the miles morales one.

Venom Punch is SATISFYING AS HELL, Spider-Man stealth is far more forgiving, and I don't have to put up with any of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from the first game where you HAVE to play as someone who is not and will not become Spider-Man during obnoxious stealth segments where you don't have powers and you're just sneaking around and then complaining to Spider-Man about how you didn't NEED his help and... ugh.

I used to be a Mary Jane fan, then I played the first one.

I like the venom abilities, but I do not like how they're balanced. The balance is frankly terrible. The problem is, they made them WAY too powerful, and then to compensate they made every single enemy Iron Man. This doesn't make the game hard, but it destroys all the variety in the combat that the first game had. Rather than having combat with a good flow and a big variety of gadgets, you use gravity well and spam venom jump until everyone is dead.

Remastered has more content, Miles Morales has better gameplay and more quality of life improvements.

The original is better. This one is frankly garbage aside from nicer spectacle during fights. I hate this damned character too.

Hands down, the first one is better. The Miles game does make up for it with unique and exciting gameplay. I think both are great in their own ways. But if you have to pick one, I'd go with the Peter Parker game.

Spiderman is Peter Parker. Miles Morales is Miles Morales. A derivative token character, loved by some, read by few. Static Shock is more original.
