Honestly Miles Morales doesn't bug me at all. The game is too great along with its predecessor Remastered to be that concerned where the comics bring this series today.
When I was a youngster, this was my Spider-Man game.
Peter and Mary Jane were married. Spider-Man was a full grown Man not young tween like current Peter Parker.

I personally buy this stuff for the gameplay itself, I never cared about superhero comics, movies etc.
And the answer is " nobody ".
That doesn't work anymore. It might have 15 years ago, but people wised up to it.
Try again.
All 3 are pussiеs, the real one is Spoderman:

Peter- Settled down mentor to the other spider heroes. Happily married, owns his own company and supplies gadgets and wisdom.
Ben Reilly- Spider-Man who's life is perpetually in chaos. Somehow manages to keep it together. Might be a little unstable at times.
Miles Morales- Young new Spider-Man that has a lot of potential and a lot to learn. A natural adept but lack of experience gets him in trouble.
They should have given Miles Morales a unique hero name. Let's just do some real talk, here. Marvel writers created Miles to have an "ethnic" Spider-Man. He did okay sales at first, but not well enough long-term. They actually resurrected Peter Parker in the "Ultimate" comic universe to boost the comics' sales figures.
So here we are, 11 years after the character was introduced, and yeah... same story. He sells, but not as well as Pete. This game didn't move as many units as the 2018 release. The Spider-verse animated film did pretty well, but had multiple Peter Parker variants in it. Peter Parker is still Spider-Man. He always will be. That's why the toys are "Spider-Man" and "Miles Morales [Spider-Man]" instead of "Spider-Man" and "Peter Parker [Spider-Man]"
If Marvel really wants to market Miles, he needs his own hero name. For example, Batman's first two Robin sidekicks grew up. DC Comics didn't name them "Batman [Grayson]" and "Batman [Jason Todd]." They're Nightwing and Red Hood. They're marketable, separate characters now and they sell well enough.
But... gotta be careful with differentiating Miles or he might wind up with as bad a hero name as Spider-Gwen now has (Ghost-Spider, oOoooooOooooOOo).
