Game Freezes on Vehicle Chase

I've tested this repeatedly and my game constantly crashes during the crime activity vehicle chase section where after I've taken out the driver and try to stop the car the game freezes at that exact point. Everything else is running fine. Let me know if you've also experienced something similar and let's try to get this recognised so it can be fixed ASAP. This is a game breaking bug.

Update: I download the latest driver from Nvidia and it worked. Now considering that some have done this and it hasn't worked for them, try doing a clean install of the latest drivers. If this still doesn't work then wait for Nixxes to come out with a patch fix as they are currently working on it.

CRASH in vehicle chase

anyone? is it just me? cant finish any quest regardin a car chase, everytime i hit the door and start surfing, the game crashes

Side mission with Camilla keeps crashing

Every time I do the side mission, that involves rescuing Camilla from being captured, like I kick all the guys out the car, and as Miles skids on the metal sign, and holds the car back with the webbing, it always freezes at the exact same time, no matter how many times I repeat it. Is anyone else having this problem?

Solution

Right click the game on Steam, choose Properties, go to Betas
Enter the following code in the field for private betas: 6DDP8bz0bh6X
Press Check Code and choose 'opt into 1126' or 1121 to confirm.
Steam will now download the beta.

Thanks, that works for me!

To save everybody else time, what was suggested in video above: run Cheat Engine, Enable Speedhack, set it to 0.2 and do problematic part in game with it enabled.

Hey guys!
I had the same problem and here`s how I fixed it ( inexact order ), hope it works for you as well:

1) Re-installed nvidia drivers ( clean install )
2) Updated windows ( I had some major updates, that I had not done )
3) Verified game files

After that, it worked. I don`t know what exactly did the trick, but my game works beautifully now. Good luck!

I tried limiting my framerate to 60 FPS and it actually worked for me.

There is no native frame rate limiter in the settings, how can you do this?
