Game Freezes on Vehicle Chase

I've tested this repeatedly and my game constantly crashes during the crime activity vehicle chase section where after I've taken out the driver and try to stop the car the game freezes at that exact point. Everything else is running fine. Let me know if you've also experienced something similar and let's try to get this recognised so it can be fixed ASAP. This is a game breaking bug.

Keeps freezing during Camilla's car chase rescue.

I can't manage to get past the part where I'm trying to stop the car Camilla is in. It just freezes, but there are sirens still wailing, yet nothing else. I've tried restarting my game and I just can't get past it. I don't believe this is my computer's issue since I've stopped a car before in the game, and it went smoothly. But for this particular rescue, it won't let me get past trying to stop the car. The second I take out the driver and I'm skating on the door, it freezes and that's it.

This is happening to me too, i pull the driver out of the car and i'm skating on the ground boutta pull hte car to a stop and it crashes. hopefully a patch will fix

This is also happening to me, hopefully they fix this. Actually, it happened to me before on a different car chase with the same skating animation, so it isn't something to do with the mission but the animation itself.

After I updated my driver, the game didn't freeze again. I don't know if it was 'cause I updated my driver or if it was just luck, but that could be a temp solution until they patch it, if it was the thing that helped my game.

same, that's the only crash/freeze I got so far. worked after a restart though.

Stuck here as well. Tried disabling HDR, DLSS, Raytracing, nothing matters. The game keeps freezing...

Edit 1: I verified my local files on steam, and now it works. Try to do the same.

Same for me tried verifying files and lowering settings nothing worked. I think it's the animation because it happened during a random crime event too when someone drove off and I had to stop the car.

There is a bug when you save Camilla, the animation of the car stopping lags and freezes. And nothing helps.
