They moved it from Q4 2022’to Q1 2023. But i doubt it will make Q1 2023 either. Hasent been a dev dairy for some time either.

To summarize, the devs will release MNW Q4 2023 (they have contractual obligation with the publisher) and the beta under NDA will come Q2-2023 (expect end of Q2, early Q3).

the devs need to take this game off the steam page, Getting every submarine game fans hopes up for nothing. how many years has this been 'coming soon'

A game typically take between 5 and 14 years (case of Duke Nukem Forever).
MNW has been announced in 2020 and will be released in 2023. Three years is very short in terms of production.

Don't go after the developers team All the PR, advertisement is on the publisher.

Just because it was announced in 2020 doesn't mean thats when they started development. Usually they will be developing a game for several years before they ever announce the game. So it has been in development for much longer then 3 years. More then likely 5-7 years at this rate.

The story of MNW started in the end of April 2020 after the devs first ask the Subsim.com community about a future modern submarine.
Since the reaction was overwhelming, they decided to go further and seek for a publisher who can support their work.
It took few months (May to November) then they really started the development.
Everything before that (from 2017 to 2020) was just collecting all the public information available on the Virginia.
