A Few quick suggestions to improve gameplay
My review goes more in depth. But here are some suggestions to the devs to improve gameplay quickly:

- Combat is bland. You end up just spamming primary attack. My suggestion to give more variety is to: 1. do away with cooldowns on abilities, but up ability stamina use, and 2. remove stamina requirements to the primary attack.
- Also in combat, it feels as though to be anything other than a mage is to use an exorbitant amount of healing items. Perhaps something as simple as increasing base defense for melee job classes could help this. I don't like playing melee jobs because it just bleeds all my healing items, and I have to heal after every combo (when fighting ~ same level monsters).
- Obviously adding a skip feature on dialogues (the pause feature is 100% useless XD )
- can you make the static "pose" when planting/watering toggle-able with a button? It's annoying enough that it doesn't last very long, but it would also be annoying if it lasted too long. I feel like a toggle would be the best option.
- Also a toggle on faerie voice because it's creepy voice acting, and it triggers if I do ANYTHING on my farm. Or at the very least make it only trigger 10% of the time.

- And please, just make the male body type have a more masculine haircut XD.

Who do you think is going to read this that will actually be able to do anything about it?

Well, maybe no one. But if I didn't write it, then 100% no one. I know for certain devs monitor discussion threads, because I've actually had impact on other games and changes.

Once you have cooldown reduction rolling, normal attacking makes up a minority of your time in combat. There's a very real difference between 12 skills at 50%+ cooldown reduction and 2 skills at normal cooldown.

Surprisingly, I take less damage going full force melee, due to the fact enemies stagger from damage. You also can get healing magic later.

Not saying the combat doesn't have jank, but it would be better if they did other things to improve it such as letting us cancel normals into specials and cancel the endlag of many attacks.

No, thank you. Good to know. I don't much like the whole job-jumping aspect, and i'd be surprised if the majority of players even bother with it. But good to know cooldowns get shorter at least. I haven't had that much luck on melee. The staggering thing I noticed is good on small groups, but on fears, bosses, and larger groups I use up twice as many healing supplies on melee than on mage.

Also, it would be awesome if my party could attack independent of my target.

I'm trying to like this game, I really am, but I have a lot of frustrations with it. I also don't like the idea of complaining without offering up suggestions. I hope the devs listen to everyone getting frustrated.

Job switching is a pretty core mechanic of combat. I mean you aren't forced to use it but it's designed to be used.

Job hotswapping is fundamental to the combat on several levels, and the core system is completely designed around it. Attempting to trigger Double Break, and get access to limit breaks is virtually impossible without job switching, and most classes either have skills that grant effects that can be passed on to other classes via buffs, or exploit effects done by other classes such as Shadow Walker's bonus vs Break skill and bonus vs Ailment skill.

Hotswapping jobs to stack relevant buffs and burn cooldowns rapidly is why I'm more able to control enemies in melee than at range. Shadow Walker with the Damage/Regen buff from Wog and the Crit buff from Avenger simply deals far more damage than Shadow Walker by itself, and at the same time, the enemy is suffering from Attack Down. Add in its high damage multi hit normal attacks where every blow is dealing 4 digits of damage and the damage boost from Double Break and Defense Down from Heine limit, and FEARs do get chain staggered because I'm simply hitting that hard.

Heal to recover your own hp, never heal to recover your whole party, because even if they get knocked out, they surprisingly recover with full health almost immediately after a certain period of time... As well, when I 'make' the AI attack something like a FEAR and leave them alone, they do NOT cast any skills to deal with it at all...
But I swear sometimes they do cast skills... I think only if you are attacking with skills?

all the mc action motion is so effiminate. might want that to add to the list.
this game definitely made with female mc in mind. gender choice is a lie, its just a choice added at the last minutes right before the game is released. nothing more than flavor text for gender pronoun. greedy lazy corporate

This isn't a beta They are not "working" as we play it. It's a full on done game that they put out. IF they do add anything it's likely just going to be DLC
