Renaming the Totokaku?

I accidentally clicked once too many and it got the base name. Any known way to change it? Even if I never have to see it again, it is annoying there was no check or anything with your one pet!

I do technically have an earlier save, but it was a boss and half a dungeon crawl (not to mention all the cutscenes) ago so I really, really do not want to reload it.

Being able to rename again would be great, Iris is now called Iris] for me, because I accidentally pressed the wrong keys, thought I was hitting backspace and hit enter after pressing ].
