Rare Fish locations for "suspicious pound"

trying to collect the rare fish for this guy and only got 2 so far.
Monotaimen: this extremely rare fish is seldom caught. originally it only changed color during spawning season, but it evolved to stay radiating this color. the reason is unknown. perhaps it likes that color.
i caught this in the first town just trying out fishing.

Siren's Servant: Legend has it that these fish live to serve the Sirens. They only appear on rainy days. Could it be that the rain is this fish's tears for its lost owner?

as the descrtiption suggests, i caught it on a rainy day and from the town at the south.

there are several more and id like to catch them to fill it out as the reward for handing these fish in is huge for how easy these 2 were to get.

The Farm has the Argentian too, but the one I got was only Golden quality and not the super sparkly rare one.

I got the Monotaimen in the farm, so it could be most of the fish can be caught in any location, with a couple being bound to specific spots.

The rest no idea yet, guess one or two will be night fish types, safest place again maybe to try the farm so you don't faint outside and have Cres steal your money again.

Edit: Found the Argentian fish in the town next to the farm, but just normal quality with text

Guess catching a few = the rare version I will find out, but... limited time :(

Aurelian fish found at Lethe Village - fished during rain, at the spot next to the Smithy. Not sure if it is because of its Argentian cousins I caught 10 of then got this or if it was random.

Flavour text says

"A fish with a sublime golden sheen.
Rumor has it this fish appears when it is
mourning fellow fish that have been caught,
but only it knows the truth."

So it could be to catch 10 argentian to trigger a chance to catch it :)

Confirmed for Siren's Servant, took me 4 casts in the rain at Shatolla on any pier I guess :)

Ice Faerie caught during snow - in Argene at the Snow Hut Square spot (only spot I know in the area)

"Creature to have the ability over ice.
It supposedly has the ability to turn any water
around it to ice, but you could also argue
logically that the water just froze..."


So at least we know 4 listed can be caught in Spring.

EDIT:

Additional handing in the Aurelian (3rd fish) gave me Fishing lvl 3. So perhaps be much easier to catch gold + rares now.

that's annoy.... but honestly if it makes it easier for people to get these fish and more people playing the game then i don't care.

Jedo has a better guide here on Steam, he/she is trying to do a 100% of the game. And all rare fish are accounted for and how to get them.
