What is the difference between: Windows Store and Steam Version?

The difference in my case is that in Windows Store I can play and in Steam I can't because it never connects xd

I would say this:

• Windows Store version: Ads, more stuff,
  
• Steam Version: laggy, no Ads,

Everything else seems the same

They are the same version if you decide to bind both accounts.
If you are playing through Steam however, the ads will be disabled and there are some minor bugs between the 2 versions.
