need to fix the xbox controller bug

This happens to me sometimes too. I just hit up on the dpad to use touchdrive for that race and then restart the game and the trigger works properly again.

Same for PS-controller... All went well for some fun hours, then it seemed as if my L2 and R2 didn't work anymore.
Haven't been able to fix it yet and found people with a similar problem.

i was using a controller fine for 3 months (Xbox one Powerwave A USB),
now randomly at the start of the level the accelerator takes 1.5 seconds to kick in,
often u can get around it somewhat by using touch-drive for the first 5 seconds,
but often the throttle in the middle of the race just dies,

There are settings in the game and on the controller.

Happens to me all the time. Just pause the game, turn off your controller, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. Works just fine after that.

this issue is a reccurent one, no idea if it's already been reported or aknowledged by the devs, but a quick fix in the meantime, is to simply replug the controler.

It happens from time to time in my Steam version too! Too bad.
However, this bug do not present in Windows Store version, so you can use it instead (it uses the same account).
