Windows Update is doing something stupid again.
Open your Windows start/search bar, open "Check for Updates"
Click the button on the Windows Update screen to check for new updates
Let it download and install
Restart your computer (NOT "shut down" and turn back on... use the "RESTART" option)
Don't touch anything, let it arrange the new updates for Windows

When it finishes, come back and try the game again.

If that doesn't work, look up how to "Verify Integrity of Game Files" in your Steam Library, and do that for Asphalt. Then come back and try again.

Yeah, sometimes you have to try a few times before it will log you in.
Bear in mind it is a port from the mobile version on Android phones.

Suggestions.

It would be nice if the cursor auto hid when the game detects a controller, instead I always have to move it off to the far corner of the screen.

Another thing that would be nice is if your garage kept the filter you applied the last time you visited it, (like sorting by cars owned) instead of having to apply the filter every single time you enter your garage.
