Shortcut key Win+Space Is not working anymore

Hi, I was using the win+space shortcut that brings all my icons to the front and I could open anything in the desktop, but, I restarted my pc (reinstall window etc) and when I installed fences again this wasnt working anymore

It doesnt bring the icons, instead it set the background of the desktop to black and only the desktop image remains in the fences tabs

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information please.
1. Need to know your full Windows version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
2. Fences 4 full version number.
3. As a test, if you change Fences setting for Show Fences Hot key other that "Win+Space", does it work?

1. Window build is 24H2 (Compilation SO 26.100.1882)
2. Fences is 4.22
3. Yes I tried different optiosn from there, I also try using the purge/uninstall file in your website and some other diff things that i found in forums

I've checked and yes the issue appear with current Windows 11 24H2. Windows has change something to make the Peek function no longer work. I believe you will need to upgrade to Fences v5 for this to work again.
Note: On Windows 23H2 the peek function on Fences 4.22 should still work.

i'm having the same issue, clearly after de windows 24H2 update, but it doesn't seen right to me that the answer is "go and but fences 5" or "go and roll back the update", is there another option?

To me it seems like a "forced upgrade" of the application. Fences 4 is an excellent application, but it is not possible that one of its best features becomes obsolete due to a Windows update. Even worse is the response, almost a "take it or leave it". I would appreciate it if you would think about patching the problem rather than just leaving users who enjoy this application with something that only works halfway.

Its kinda obvous is a forced upgrade, I think it has been like that since Fence 2 or 3, thats why I didn't even bother to reply, and Im not paying 15$ for that feature that might have the same """"isue"""" when fence 6 comes up

Also broke Stem's downloads to network drives.

Clogs everything and freezes the download..

Regarding the peek feature in Fences 4, I understand your frustration with it no longer functioning. Unfortunately, as with any software, changes in major Windows updates can lead to certain features becoming incompatible. While we work hard to maintain functionality for as long as possible for prior versions of our products, some changes from Microsoft are beyond our control.

I acknowledge that this situation is less than ideal. However, I encourage you to consider Fences 5, which is designed to be compatible with the latest systems and includes improvements to address this and other such issues. It is also frequently on sale, offering opportunities for a cost-effective upgrade.

I understand that maintaining compatibility with major updates can be challenging. However, it’s disappointing that the issue with the peek feature in Fences 4 will not be addressed. While I appreciate your suggestion to upgrade to Fences 5, it leaves me hesitant to continue using the product, as it creates the impression that I may need to buy future versions repeatedly to maintain functionality. I hope your team can consider ways to support loyal users of older versions in the future.
