Lost in clock room

I've solved all of the puzzles and found brown.jpg , but it makes absolutely no sense to me. The way it's drawn is confusing. I'm unsure of where to start, how to get there, or how to orient myself once I'm there. Can anyone help me make sense of the map or just tell me the correct way?

this description isnt clear to me as i dont see 'the side corrider left to the 3rd exit' on the last step.
do you not exit at the second step because is doesnt say to enter it or not?
video would be nice if possible, thx in advance

In case that goes down: brown.png does NOT start from the entryway into the maze; it starts from the hidden entrance where you find the triple arrows.
To get there:
The layout of the map is essentially a ring of rooms, each with a smaller room containing the hint block. you want to go halfway around the ring, starting by going right.
So: from the entryway, go right, go past "thou" (right left left right) and you'll be in the "connexion" corner room. Go left (left right left), straight through two more rooms, "night" and "betwixt" (in each room, left right right left), then you'll be in the next corner room, "your". Go left (left right left), then you'll be in the "before" room. Pass straight through this room (left right right left), and then turn left in the little hallway between rooms (if you reach "corpse" you've gone too far). You should be in a plus-shaped hall; THIS is the entry point for brown.jpg!
By the way, in the first looping room, if you repeat a loop it's fine, but in the rooms after (except for the connection hall) if you take a wrong turn it'll send you to "puppy" "bread" "betwixt" "dinosaur" or "adult", so be careful!
