This game is brutally slow

I spent 19 hours idling and checking back and idling. I seem to be getting nowhere. It's fun finding new things, but the time getting those new things saps the fun out. Are the dev's active at all/ do they accept feedback?
(Am i playing correctly or is it supposed to be slow?

It's supposed to be slow, and the more you grind each path/action the faster it becomes
Taking advantage of the offline time speedup is crucial to getting things going faster

As for the dev being active question: I don't know, check on discord

If you level up the "heart" stat it literally increases the game speed.

you are playing "wrong" the problem is you probably play to passiv and ot have a bad plan or bad route try to follow the semi Playthough guide in the steam guide section it can help a looot

It's an unlockable you find in the world, off the beaten path; IIRC there are 10 that improve on each other
