Would like the ability to choose colors and arrow keys

why are there three redish colors? I always get them mixed up, anyone else feel the same? feels like a given for rhythm games nowadays to bind and change colors and I like the game but it gets incredibly frustrating to play in the harder stages because three of the buttons look the exact same to me.

I'd personally love to see beat markers that are more based on symbols, rather than purely relying on color and label. I feel like my ability to mash buttons is extremely limited by my unfamiliarity with letter assignments on my XBox controller, because I grew up on Nintendo where AB and XY are reversed.

For example, some games just show four circles in the same arrangement as the face buttons on the controller ( something akin to ❖ ) , but one of them is highlighted. Something like that would be amazing.

yeah right now i have my keys assigned to 1, 2, 3 and SPACE so i can actually tell the difference between the keys and to keep it somewhat ergonomic while playing one-handed. i tried Q, W, E, SPACE and even though i obviously know where the Q, W, E keys are my brain just can't comprehend that quickly when everything is scrolling horizontally on a single lane. the fix would be to either change it to a more guitar hero-esque verticle 4 lane system or to do what you said and give us more customization options, i think allowing us to change both the keys and the symbols to arrows or whatever we want would help (i wouldn't mind having the symbols be ↑, ↓, ←, → while the actual keys being assigned to W, A, S, D)
