Unable to Open

I found out earlier today that Poptropica is available on Steam so I just bought it and downloaded it but my computer says its unable to open the application and I have no idea what's wrong. I'm on a MacBook laptop. Not that that matters, since Steam said Poptropica is compatible with Mac and Windows. If possible I'd like to upload a screenshot of the message that pops up. I'm not sure how to do that on steam...

That's really odd the game has always worked fine for me. Have you actually tried looking up if the game works with Mac on Google? Steam might say so but it's not always true so I would look it up to make sure. If that's not the issue maybe try changing compatibility mode? I've never used a Mac so I'm not sure if that's possible but if it is that might fix the game!

Seeing a screenshot of the message would most likely indeed help understand what's wrong but I really doubt that's possible on Steam. You'd have to link a website like imgur for example or upload it as an Artwork on your profile.

Ultimately I think you might want to refund the game and get the Flashpoint upload of old Poptropica which is free and has way more island than this overpriced repack. im on mac and what u need to do is go to the local files click on the mac folder right click on poptropica app click get info and click run using rosetta (assuming ur on m1 or m2 mac) and if that doesnt work then try downloading adobe air then it should run (dont delete any files)

also it does matter if u run on mac or windows as this is a mac only issue
