Virus Hunter Island Bonus Quest

For me, whenever I go over to talk to the woman about her dog running away, it puts up the begin quest thing, then when I click X or Begin Quest the cutscene plays again. Then I go over to talk to her again, and the popup comes again, and the cutscene plays again. It's an infinite loop, I can't start the quest.

Well now the guy in the poptropolis games refuses to speak and I can't do that bonus quest either. God this game is SO broken.
