My basket is gone? Few bugs...

Not sure what happened. I left my basket in the kitchen and went to sleep. When I woke up it had disappeared.

I also unlocked Lapointe and the workbench however it will not let me build anything. It puts the item on the bench and then the item becomes stuck

Please help!

You need the parts to be in the bin next to the workbench for it to work. The parts will show up in the inventory on the left in the crafting menu then you need to exit the crafting menu and hold left click on the workbench to craft the item. You can craft more bins and more baskets if needed.
I also have an issue with things clipping into the floor and making them hard to find. The broom disappeared once as well but it respawned.
