Game deleted my progress

I was pretty far in the game and had a bunch of very complicated scripts running that took a lot of time and killed a lot of my brain cells to write. I got back on today and I was back at the beginning of the game at the tutorial. did I do something wrong? Can I do anything to fix any of it? can I get a sanity/brain cell refund at least?
