DSX
Launch DSX without steam
Hi everyone, I'd like to suggest an idea to lauch DSX without Steam (As wallpaper engine, ShareX, Blender and so on). It's just a little annoying when steam runs with DSX, especially Big Picture. It would be really cool if we had this minor feature :steamhappy::spiffo:

+1
Steam runs on two computers at the same time. DSX is launched automatically. On the other computer i can't start games because DSX is running on steam. Switched back to version 2.5.0.

+ 1 fix it
Honestly not a dealbreaker but a source of tedium for me is the fact that this game must be running through Steam at all times for the program to work.
I agree, I think the program would be much better served in the same way Wallpaper Engine and Lossless Scaling do.
Please consider this as an option.

Definitely would be a great improvement for me, as I move from Workstation to laptop through my day.

If you look at the DSX DISCORD PAGE, ROAD MAP

Well that's nice and all but I try to limit the number of Discords I join to the ones I know I'm going to be relatively active in. So please excuse me if I'm not in the know about the roadmap and its progress since I don't see it anywhere in the application's news, where most other programs will post and re-post for visibility.
That's not supposed to be a criticism, I don't think it's really a pressing issue and I'm just stubborn.

I did notice it begins to start after Steam starts so that's a nice change. Having it constantly say I'm in game is annoying, but if that's the way it's going to work then that's just the way that's going to work.
