"another instance is already running" and DSX isn't open

DSX shows as running in steam but it is not running. I hit 'stop' in steam to kill the program and it tells me another instance is open. When I kill it and restart is, a DSX window pops up and then quickly disappears. Any clue why it's not working?

got it to work. On windows 11 go to your "show hidden icons" button on your task bar. Click on the app and it will start the new process for ya. Check your system tray. I dont know why its not opening up just regualr style but it is what it is

Now that I see this, I am assuming I DID NOT have to purchase the DLC for DSX to work??? Mine is doing all that same here so, it is clearly some sort of bug at the moment. My DSX worked fine yesterday all day. Today, no function at all......im a bit sad to say the least and be as pg-13 as possible. Also, mine is opening a blank page while app is running. I can't see anything while app is "running".

THE SOLUTION THAT WORKED FOR ME. I went thru and uninstalled and reinstalled, did not work. even bought the DLC and it wasnt working still. finally went to the "Show hidden Icons" arrow in the bottom right of the task bar, clicked on the DSX icon and it popped up with a new driver that needed downloaded ( not sure it it was because i uninstalled) and it showed the set up process to set up the 3.0 version, but in the top left it says laugh version 2.0 and that actually brought up the app and it is now working. I hope this can help other frustrated gamers.
