DSX's window won't open anymore after a while, and audio haptics stop working

I have my DSX set to start when I boot my PC, and, by default, I keep my computer on 24/7. However, lately, I've found out that, if I leave my PC on overnight, DSX will remain working and will remain on my system tray as it always has, but if I click on its icon (be it with LMB or RMB), nothing happens. Not only that, but the audio haptics stop working as well once DSX enters that state (although controller emulation will still work normally). The only thing I can do in order to have access to DSX's UI again when that comes up is to restart the program.

EDIT: Same thing happens if I set DSX to minimize to taskbar instead of system tray (am on Windows 10). Controller is still being emulated, but the software stops responding. Will try to determine whether it has something to do with me turning my monitor off vs. keeping it on. Here's what the software looks like when I try to use it: https://imgur.com/ooXdvvY

EDIT 2: Restarted DSX, minimized it, immediately turned off my monitor and turned it back on after a couple of seconds. That triggered the issue. Seems like it's not time-related, but rather it has something to do with whether my monitor is on or off.
