So can you provide some more information as to what's not working exactly? Is it closing after it opens? Is it not detecting your controller?

I had a similar issue today. I think I fixed this by reinstalling to a new directory. (reinstalling in same directory kept crashing)

Have to redo all settings, so my guess is this has something to do with the settings file.

I did reinstall in 3 separate places, no avail, sometimes it's working, sometimes not. The app crashes immediately after splash screen.

Crash, the tool close itself after a few minutes running on the background with RDR2 game running or without game running.

Make sure you launch the app through Steam.

Sorry for the issues you're facing, most bugs/crashing will be solved with v3 as it's a whole different app built from scratch, and I'm not the only one working on it, i have two other people that are better programmers than me than me to better optimize the app and handle issues.

The same happens here. The application crashes after switching to the game screen. This has been happening for about two weeks.
When will V3 be released?

If you haven't already: You need to activate Beta participation on your library game properties -> goto Betas section and then select Beta 3. helped a lot here
the app made my PC have a sudden BSOD. After I fixed the issue, i uninstalled DSX. Sh*tty app that hardly works half the time. Brand new PC with top of the line hardware. Shouldnt have ever had the issue, and it ONLY happened after i tried to install the drivers DSX "needed".

There are thousands of people using DSX. If you had a BSOD, you are the exception. The drivers are needed in order to hide your physical controller and also to create a virtual controller for emulation. This is necessary because such input and hardware device management needs to be handled by drivers.

You should open a support ticket with more info about your BSOD, so that it can be solved and other people don't run into the same issue. Have you tried getting support for your issue? It's not fair for you to say "stay away".

Little hint for you: New PC hardware or not has nothing to do with a stable PC. Why a PC is unstable can depend on many things, new hardware does not make you safe from it, on the contrary, brand new hardware that has just appeared on the market is more likely to cause problems because its drivers are often not yet fully developed.

That is for example a reason why new mainboards get often one new BIOS after another and the older it gets the less BIOS updates appear because they make less troubles. I have also seen a BSOD (not by this software) on my new hardware I bought 4 months ago, on my old hardware I haven't seen one for years.

"Never change a running system" ... it has a reason why this say exists, even when its dumb.
