What's the best way to start my Tier 3 city?
How do I start building these buildings? I've got loads of storage in my original village, I've got lots of materials and everything needed. I've got like 28 villagers. But the thought of moving everything over so I can get into the Iron Age feels painful to me. Any advice?

The same way you built your T2 Town, you have to build the Town Hall then research the new T3 items.

And yes, it's a MASSIVE pita to relocate your Town to a superior location (middle map-ish usually) but only at first, then it's fairly smooth sailing.

Pick a location with LOTS AND LOTS of nearly flat and wide open spaces because T3 buildings are not only massive, but the collision around them is EVEN LARGER (Devs have stated they're planning on tweaking that part) meaning you need space around them (wider than the footprint) just to place them and new buildings as well.

As for having lots of materials... good luck with that heh. Having 28 Villagers will certainly help though, because you're going to burn through mats building the new things and researching the new things like you don't even know yet.

The best way I have found is following the creation of your tier 3 town hall, find a good spot in your current town. Then dismantle a building at a time and replace with the newer version of that building. I did this for tier 1 to tier 2 because I love my location, in-between padstow and the northern village, on the hills. Best of luck.

Just burn everything to ground and start all over. The more you build more pain for planning for new buildings.

Or find a piece of suitable land create a new outpost build a couple stack piles there and a sign all your worker to that outpost so you can ship shxt lot of stuff there in one day then do what you gonna do.
