I've only just over 800 hours of gameplay behind me and completed the initial game up to the last quest in slow play mode in about 650 hours.
Then I restarted the game because it's constantly being improved and made more beautiful.
Although I've rushed a bit now, since you already know the initial quests and map and don't have to search for everything again or reload because you chose the wrong building sites.
These developers put a lot of time and love into the game, and there's no end in sight to the development.
And the game is already worth every cent.
And the bug fixes and improvements make it more and more fun, even though you've almost finished it once.
These developers and their baby (game) should be a role model for many Early Access developers and can be truly proud of their product.
I hope that It doesn't give up next year and perhaps releases a new DLC, which would also cost €9,95 - €19.95 or so and would only be playable with the original game...
with a new map, story and quest`s, but the same structure and combat system...
You can determine the length of the game yourself, whether you just build small outposts that, for example, mine iron and send it to a village at midnight every day, or whether you play a bit more intensively like me and build a few self-governing, autonomous cities.
Shadows flickering everywhere, T-pose on npcs when you talk to them, there no polish at all
Plus I read that the mod unlocker has issues and doesn't get updated.
Waiting to read more about this "Spring update" when it drops and see if that unlocker actually works for mods, then I'll get this maybe if all good.
Looks far better than Medieval Dynasty, so fingers crossed.
My buddy and I have a co-op game going and having a lot of fun and I've played through the content solo twice.
I had some of this issue on the current preview branch, but by changing the "Global illumination method" in graphic settings to "Lumen". fixed it.
