Loot bags, do they vanish ? and if so is it a timer or at dawn or both ?

I tend to tidy my village up overnight while the minions get themselves a well deserved rest. Building new buildings, relocating old buildings as my village develops. Just wondering if I am on a timer to collect the dropped stock before it vanishes.
