How do you increase prosperity?

I have two villages, been very slow at things and want to tier up to 3 as much as possible, happy with the two villages.

The problem seems getting past 2 basic prosperity, I do get a lot of random bonuses but I just calculated the amount of buildings needed to get to 3 .... that´s one heck of a grind or did I miss something here?

Vaults and cattle pens are the best gain per point. Followed by granary, house, herb garden. You shouldn't be building the "militia" buildings until you are almost to lvl 5

Just want to point out that you don't need to transport building resources to said village or worry about your villagers doing it, the new and improved updated system will act as an automatic delivery system at midnight as long as you have said resources available in your main settlement storages they will be transferred to village and the villagers at said village will build the structure including belltower.

2 types of village improvement.
the first improve your reputation in the village
the second improve the prosperity of the village. prosperity building cost construction points
the bonus from the building is permanent
you also get temporary prosperity points through the Town trade interface. these points can push you over the threshold of the different levels, but it's temporary, So if your out of build points and have bottle-necked yourself on construction points make sure you are in the area and have the ground picked out before you make the town trade.
