They need a more meaningful stair step for armor and weapons.. The weapon variety I can kind of understand.. maybe you want everyone to use long swords.. or whatever.. but the armor.. there are like a hundred of everything way too much.. I hope they rework all of the armor and the weapons.
That would make for at most 60 armor pieces total. 5 slots, 2 light and heavy variants for each, times 3 tiers.
Weapon selection is equally messy. Weapon length is meaningless. Once the mass brawl has begun damage and attack speed is all that matters. Piercing damage has a distinct and obvious advantage since most swinging attacks will get blocked by one of your companions. As for range, it makes no sense to lose projectile speed as you increase draw weight. If anything, ammo type should affect projectile speed, as ammunition with greater mass will have reduced velocity per draw weight.
