that is not what I asked. I want to know where the chickens are and if they respawn. I do NOT have T2 buildings yet.

Mods. The loot from game and now I get roughly 14 feathers per kill. I've added about a dozen mods and now Im having more fun than ever.

Food buff lasts 24 hours, food does not spoil, higher knowledge from books, and some more. Even with all of these buffs the reclamation parties are insane.

Pretty sure chickens are town animals only and you lose rep if you kill them. Crows are where you are supposed to get feathers from as was stated above. You dont need a tier 2 building to kill them yourself, so the poster above me wasnt wrong. A simple thanks would go much further than a "Thats not what I asked"

I've found chickens outside Padstow, usually right outside the village or down the hill at the crossroads. If you try to farm them do it prior to gaining friendship with the town, tried hunting the crows myself and it's a pain. If I come across them anywhere else will post.

All chickens on the entire map belong to Padstow, every chicken kill costs 10 loss of trust to this village, no matter where and how far away this chicken is.
the same applies to cows,
you need the hunter because he gets so many feathers that your camps will burst or you have to do it yourself and practice more..
It's normal to shoot birds on every mountain, there are usually copper or tin mines there, I read somewhere that there is supposed to be a nest somewhere in the last village on the bottom right where there are lots of them to shoot, but I didn't look because I have enough feathers

Hunters lodge is the way to go if you want feathers. Just make sure the lodge has a bow, quiver and arrows. Got lots of feathers by prioritizing crows over the other game.

my guess would be conservation if you kill all the animals they don't breed. next time just kill 1 of the 2 see if they breed. works with wolves I kill the first 3 in the mission and they are gone I kill 2 come back later there is 3 again.

Forget that everyone is trying to talk you out of killing Chickens instead of answering your question so I'll try. Between Padstow and the Wheat Fields there are a few. Yes, you'll lose 10 Trust per kill but who cares since ONE Shrine gives you 75. But, they're few and far between so it's easier to stumble upon them than it is to actually hunt for them.

There are also a few roaming outside of Farnworth (I've seen them east of Town) and Crasmere (just outside the south gate). Lastly, just south of Blackridgepool, near the lady they kicked out.

Outside of the above listed areas, I wish you luck because Chickens seem rare in Bellwright.

No, all chickens, no matter where on the entire map, belong to the same village! and it is forbidden to kill their chickens and costs this 10 trust penalty..,
The fact that these poultry and the milk factories are running around everywhere after a few days since the start of the game is because our villagers have only built open, half-finished fence gates there and there are no BSE factory farming barns there without a run... that's why these animals straight out of the dust to entice us unsuspecting players to commit a chicken murder for feathers, or that we apparently slaughter free-living cows to avoid near starvation, only to be punished for this outrage .., the devil is in every animal..,^^

edit;
but I think
that you should reach T2 as quickly as possible in order to get better weapons and then get enough feathers from the hunter, because you will then need these feathers in large quantities to make clothes..,

Best thing to do is get a hunters camp and make sure you stock up on arrows ... you will have more feathers than what to do with . if you looking to make bronze arrows....just know copper is a limited resource

This is completely false. ONLY the Chickens near Padstow cause a -10 Trust penalty. By "near" I mean a WIDE radius around the Town. You can go murder hobo on Chicken INSIDE the walls of Crasmere and nobody even looks funny at you nor do you lose Trust with anyone. There's another Town that has Chickens near that you also don't lose Trust, I think it's Blackridgepool but not 100%. I'm sorry, you are wrong here.

There are some chickens outside the wheat field in the center of the map, but I do not know if they respawn and I never killed them. Shooting the crows takes some practice. I shoot ahead of their path. I usually go naked when hunting so I could chase animals as fast as I could.
