Villagers unequiped with weapons, just stop if there is danger ahead.
Just ffs already with the stupid ♥♥♥♥. So finally, after a long time and losing 2 bell towers to the liberation reclamation crew, managed to liberate Farns(whatever) well, since you HAVE TO LOAD UP ON FOOD TO WALK THAT FAR so you can hand feed your army, you can't carry any additional weapons, and SINCE YOU CAN"T ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FAST TRAVEL WITH COMPANIONS you can either hold their hand back from the 20-minute WALK or fast travel yourself and leave them to their own devices. But, since NO villagers (even at higher levels) carry any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons, they walk back terrified in the dark and stop a safe distance from any danger or flee and run back to where they were standing. The villager smarts REALLY need to go to the TOP of the list.

HOW did having real-world time satiation appear on foods, i.e., a value roughly worth the satiating time of the actual snacks, make it past the boardroom in a GAME With such SEVERE time dilation?!?! ffs. when you turn hours into minutes but keep the food satiating for in-game hours - IT LASTS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MINUTES.

Fix these worthless villagers pretty please. Play the game for 20-30 hours, and if you don't want to pull your hair out, I'll buy a second copy.

Just ♥♥♥♥ man. The easiest fix right now to solve one of the major pain points, until the entire system can be revisited is to just alter the satiating time of the food. so at least they can keep themselves somewhat fed.

I think that it would make a bit more sense that they eat once a day, and that's all. So say they grab up to 3 different types of foods. Example: Fine Stew, Mushroom Stew, Berry Jam. You can add the hours up for the amount of time that they are "satiated" and then when that timer ends, all three buffs fall off and they will want to eat again. This would cut down on micromanaging.

Or…you could build a sign next to Farns and then build a chest there, where you put priority zero, so only you would use it.

Then you load up that chest with the weaponry needed, utilizing the sign travel system.

You could make TWO chests - one for weaponry and one for food.

Problem solved. It is called logistics - all armies utilizes it :)

Can also use a single stockpile instead of chests.

You can build these food storages along the route. Plan ahead.

But I get what you mean. The timers on the foods are definately neither RL timer or IG timer.

i also hate how the food works, i tend to send them to a storage that has food to start, they all grab one food. Then i manually hand them a couple of more food. Then on the way to where ever im headed i have them fetch up berries. They dont seem to feed them selves except first thing in the morning, they head straight to where the food is and grab one food. Weapons and shields are a whole other story. They dont seem to keep what ever shield and weapon you give them so i line them up after they eat and after i manually feed them then hand out weapons and shields. Its sorta a pain.
