Recruitment from villages
Is there an easier way to check and recruit people other than walking around in the town hoping you didn't run past anyone?
How often do new people arrive in towns?
Thx in advance

+1 for something like that since I do not see it in the game myself.

A way to "be sure" you have seen everyone. Maybe at least when you mouse over them there is a "already met" or something after their name. I know having a "town population list" might break imerssion a bit. Even just a simply number like 8/10 vilagers met would be nice!

SPOILER:

When you get to T2 you can build houses in their village and the tool tip say that it adds 2 villagers to the town for every house you build.......... are these villagers that have stats and we can then recruit?

I use the quality of their clothes. The higher the tier, the better the clothes.

As far as how fast you get new villagers, it happens. I picked up two from Bradford and about 15-to-25 days later, there were two more and picked up one of them.

So, to me at least, it's fast enough. This isn't a fast-paced game. I'm just trying to figure out armies instead of mob rushes.

TH only way atm to know if you talked to someone before is either remembering their name, writing their name down and checking, or talking to them and seeing if the 1st chat option is white (unused so a new person) or grey (you have chosen this option before). The people that spawn from the house(s) you build are recruitable. I believe it is random, but I built 1 house so far and got 2 decent (skills in the 4-5 range with caps 7-8 for combat) recruitable people to spawn. Building village housing requires friendly rep (5 of the 'village' tech things can be built at friendly; others require protector or bellwright [max] rep).
