Can we fix people assigned to the trappers camp
They are great at going and collecting small animals you catch however they never seem to add any more bait causing me to still have to run around and bait everything. That should go hand in hand to be autononmous .

Make sure that you have foragers to harvest mushrooms and berries. Then it should work.

I got so many mushrooms and berries its sick lol i got 3 store houses and they keep collecting them. well over 100 of each but the traps always remain non baited when they collect meat and rabbit pelts.

I have foraging set as a high priority so that when winter comes i never run out.

Hmm strange. Mine works as intended. I also make sure to keep the amount of traps topped up on the workbench.

Could maybe be a priority issue with the trapper?

Its just issue of too much work, they check the trap, then walk back, and if they got no other work they go back with bait and bait the traps. If there is ass tons work to be done and its all set the same priority or higher they ignor the traps till other work is done. Basicaly every time they do a job they think fora second and pick next one there is no "order" its just "oh this needs to be delivered to stockpile, we need research that is set to 4 for station go there next." or "uh ok cut logs there is work order for that." Like its just RNG what they pick next if you don't change hunting to higher priority.

Also you can change the trappers hunt priority as well

They seem to ignore the traps once they would normally break down if a player would harvest them but they actually don't break and go into a unusable state instead and get ignored by the npc.
The only way to fix that temporarily would be to disassemble the trap and place it manually so the trapper can use them again until they break and bug out again.
Personally I hate the traps....I prefer proper actual hunting with my archers.....better at it and get me what I want when they are not roaming half way across the map to find that lonesome boar that ends up skewering them instead :P
