Build something anywhere... Best for outposts is a sleeping hut, a storage, a workbench (for tool repair) and the ressource building you needed.

Once done, go into the building list. On the right side is a little button with an arrow downwards, click it and then you can create a new outpost / settlement.

Tip : Build a travelmarker first as close as possible, set this as the new outpost, then the new buildings are automatically set to the new outpost, but it must be close enough to the travelsign to work, and your people will not automatically start to travel the entire map to build the stuff, better buiild it yourself .

Then you can assign settlers to the outpost, and as a last step you need to set up "deliveries".

Once you have more than one settlement, in the buildinglist left top where the city name stands, you have too arrows to switch the view of the settlements.

In the settlement you want the goods to ARRIVE, create a new delivery line, and in the little box field where you can select a settlement name, you select the settlement that IS SENDING OUT the goods. Then at midnight, the delivery takes place automatically.

As for food, you need to get this one sorted out soon. Use campfires with cauldron, these are the best. Then you can send a few food items via delivery to the outpost each day. If you don't do it, they will search there own food, so they start wandering around not working,.
