I intend to enable raids again when I get some decent T2 equipment for my guards so they can fend off a raid without me
When it is Raid Day you can expect the raid to come around 14.00-15.00. Around the time you lose your sleeping-bonus.
Early raids need 2-3 villagers equiped with simple axe and wooden shield to defeat.
Get your wooden shields distributed - I do a drill on raid day in the morning to see how everyone is doing. Giving them 3 types of food also helps your villagers!
I kind of like the food mechanics.
u will be way faster than them and make sure u save before the fight and u will succedd
As others have pointed out, raids are fantastic farming opportunities especially for straps, which you'll need a fair bit of for early game research and some equipment. Just keep them toggled off until you feel prepared to deal with them.
